Priors include other crimes for which you have been convicted in the State of California. Some priors are serious felonies that may trigger California’s three strikes law. These include many violent crimes, first-degree burglary, robbery and theft with weapons or firearms, sexual abuse of a minor, and forcible sexual assault or rape.
